About the Event
In light of the global COVID-19 crisis, CoinDesk is hosting this year’s Consensus as a completely virtual experience, where attendees from all over the world can participate online at no charge.
We understand that, for many people, our annual New York City gathering is an event they greatly look forward to attending, but we are excited at the opportunity to re-imagine Consensus as a global online event that has the potential to bring far more people into the fold.
We are already working hard on the Consensus: Distributed experience, which starts May 11. Please check this page regularly for updates or sign up for email updates in the form on this page.

Consensus, powered by CoinDesk, is the annual gathering of the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology world. Since 2015, Consensus has attracted every major company, developer, founder, and investor in the cryptocurrency and blockchain world to engage in an annual discussion about the future of the industry. Consensus aims to break down the barriers that separate companies in the industry and allows everyone working on the technology to spend three days learning from their peers. Previous speakers reflect the richness and diversity of the Consensus crowd, ranging from titans of Wall Street and Fortune 500 executives to pioneering cryptographers and the core developers who power the world’s most valuable cryptocurrencies.
